And no..I have NOT watched that Star Wars movie, and by the way truth be told, I'm not a star wars/harry potter/ lord of the rings fan
as far as cult movie goes....i'll prob follow 007.....
no ...the movies I am referring to is Ichi the Killer (Uncensored) and Zatoichi.
Zatoichi is just a hilarious film and as far as honest film making goes, i'd say Ichi is much more honest than Zatoichi.
Zatoichi...the blind-wannabe old man is in search for this gang leader to kill of course...ends up aiding 2 geishas (brother and sister -sole survivors of the Naruto Family massacre cos they're rich) in seeking revenge for the massacre. the brother has to sell his body = male prostitution
Through out the movie, there's a few non-sequitor?.....like a retarded child running around in circles, a straw scarecrow with a hard-on...and some sort of japanese bangra at the end, and 4 farmers farming the field in sync with the music....I don't know if the director has a great sense of humour.
Ichi on the other hand is darker movie about the yakuza, and an exploration into the psyche of people into sadist and masochist. About some old guy who took in this kid who had killed his parents and played around with his mind.....feeding him stories about being bullied and his friend Tachibana had been raped etc.....
and so ichi goes into vigilante....slicing people in half, with guts flying around, face sliding on the side of the wall, women being battered, nipples being cut etc....
oh and after Ichi kills, he gets a hard on and jerks off....
